dana 44 + 1310,s + LT1 350 = severe breakage, a little too many ponies and too much torque for present application, add about 12 cold buds to that equation and you have a real recipe for a knocken LT1 SBC.

Well, pulled the engine out of the hearse Sunday past. Pulled everything off it the other day. Real nice clean looking engine. I have a better set of heads under my bench with new seals ...#14101083...87-up...350..........Gen.I, also used on crate motors, 285 or 300 hp, 64cc chambers, 72' center manifold bolt angles. Thinkin on switchin them before it goes in. The heads on it now are just a standard 305/350 head...#14102193.

I second tigger's thoughts , I'm pretty sure that's the same casting as my heads (14102193) . Mine came off a 93 cop car , closed chamber , 194 valves with the swirl in the intake port , may be listed as a standard head but they helped my 350 turn on , over 1 hp for every cu in. and you can't knock that .
