If you have an older style dome you can make it work , summit has one of their own on sale right now for $99 , it uses flat washers for the middle bolts for the older heads and bushings for new heads for the different bolt angles , or you can probably get a holley or edelbrock for 150-175 dedicated for those heads .

I was planning on hacking up an older one to fit but I think I'll check out the 99 dollar one summit has on sale first.

... all cleaned up and pretty for the pics. I have a set of ram horn manifolds and I'm wondering if they will work with the swap. I don't want to get into buying a set of headers to fit, and the ram horns go up and over the plugs same as the 305 manifolds. Does anyone know if they will work for sure?? The truck has a 4 inch body lift so I don't know where that leaves the steering shaft along the lines of hitting the manifold.

If you weren't at the bottom end with that pipe wrench it might be alright ;D
If memory serves me right the valve covers will interfere with the ram horns , I used the flanges off some junk headers for spacers .

you know what happens to them when you paint them bang bang I thought the same thing as I was painting it lol. If you weren't at the bottom end with that pipe wrench it might be alright ;D If memory serves me right the valve covers will interfere with the ram horns , I used the flanges off some junk headers for spacers . Shitty... if thats a fact I'll prob have to go with a different manifold or a header. I don't think I'll have the room at the steering shaft to shim the manifold on the drivers side. As for the pipe wrench... there's an adapter on the engine with lines that ran to the rad of the hearse. You can see it in the pic. Shouldn't it just turn off like a filter??? I put that pipe wrench on it and gave it a good pull and it never budged. I don't want to force it if there's something I'm missing but I want to eliminate it. WTF???

y not run the factory ones they have bigger flow than the old ones thats what all the stock car guys run at least until you find headers

Trade the pipe wrench in for a ratchet and look up inside for the two bolts holding it on . Then you'll need the regular adaptor , keep an eye on the bolt length , I'm not sure if they are different lengths or not .

Took a look today after work. 2 bolts...got it lol. y not run the factory ones they have bigger flow than the old ones thats what all the stock car guys run at least until you find headers Thats what its looking like. The manifolds that were on it go up over the plugs. They should work.

True enough, speaking of leaks i have a transmission full of anti-freeze
