I got new wedges cut out for the front that finally let my front shaft turn. Going to have to chain it down tho... not allot of droop before it binds the front shaft. Still have to do a little grinding for clearance there too. Got the front cross member made up just have to add a couple gussets and its good. Going to pick up a couple new calipers prob this week and be done with it and that's about it for now. I have a couple pics of the wedges and the cross member I'll post up later or tomorrow. Hoping to make the run but there'll be allot not done.

Couple pics.... Tranny cross member pretty much done. Just have to add a couple small gussets at the top.  Started making external drive slugs today.      Just have to cut them out, test fit and weld the side gears in. |

Couple more......    Just have to weld them up. Debating whether to just weld them with my mig or to wait and weld them with the stick at work. My mig seems to penetrate pretty good, its 220.... and I'm worried too much heat with the stick will kill the side gears. |

If you have a good mig I would go with it. You can go with a stick if you keep the heat down but then you are not going to have good penetration.

I'm hoping to make the run. I don't think I'll have the caster fixed on the front along with a pile of other stuff but if it will drive and turn I'll take it.
