If you make one,you should make it so that it would hold three inserts.Think that it would make it so you could speed up the feed and would be able to cut more splines before they would have to be flip the inserts.
And make me one to ;D

ya, the inserts like high rpm. and 3 of them would really reduce the shock loading - they would last longer, cut smoother.
did you find any difference between the coatings? i think it was the black one that was supposed to be toughest.

Well think that I got all the major fab work done. A few pics of the housing Figured that I would add a gusset under the knuckle balls The cylinder and the clamps Knuckle with the fifth stud and steering arms the clevis for the cylinder and the wheel hubs with the 6 5/16"dowel and the longfield drive flanges Now just need to get some paint on it and put it together. Thanks guys!Dale had gave me a ram,but the more I looked at it,the more I didn't think that it was going to be rugged enough.Bought this ram off of Terry.Not sure if this one is going to be big enough.Got Allyn to cut the clamps out for me on the CNC mill.
