so thats about where im at now gonna pick up some axal seals tm make the u bolt plates outta 1/2 inch plate put the axal together an bolt it in hopfully for the last time then i have too work on the steering put a sway bar on an hopfully be able too go for a test run theres a few other odds an ends too as always but ill get there. ill try too keep the pics updated an post as i go. but i dout that will happen lol

i dont like the thoughts of blowing a motor or seizing a hydro pump an not being able too steel out u ever try to steer one with the pump seized lol its not fun an my truck is a budget build dont have the money to go buy a good set up or another spare set up too keep in the truck an besides anyone can put a ram an a orbital valve on run sum lines an be steering!! i just like the thoughts of the steering box an being able to still steer it if anything dose happen thats just my preference i know lots that do go with the hydro just not gonna be me i hope

lol my hydro steering so far has cost me 87$ and all i need to do is mount everything up, to each there own, cool rig regardless

well finely had the truck out for a tear it worked good an the truck itself stayed together but the motor had a lil knock so i went out beet on it for a few days an it threw a rod so now ill be in the process of another motor swap! im curently looking at a 1990 zz 350 crate engine its pushing around 300hp on a efi set up.. my buddy figures ill be able too pull another 30-40hp with a good distributor my carb a good dome an play with the timing a bit! so should be intresting an werk better then the old stock junk yard motors.... lol ahh well thats the way she gose!!
my steering works great an cost me 26$ for a pit man arm an was able to steer it home noproblem when the motor went an thats why i wanted to go with the cross over steering with a steering box no worries!!

Why am I not surprised you blew it up lol. Thinkin you should leave it parked till May lol. Did you have to take a wall down to get it out of the garage or what.

i think yer rite i prob should leave it parked till may will see when the new harts in her!! it wasent as bad as i thought it would be to get out had to take it out on bare rims chain blocked the rear down an it came out with minor scrapes to the roof an header....lol but the headers still attached to the garage!!! charles you better get at yours soon mays coming quick its near march now!!!! unless u just wanna part it out i could always use spare parts......lmao get at er C`Mon!!!!!

well i decided to build a motor insted of buying that creat motor, buddy couldent tell me much about it an it was outta the car so i couldent here it running he dident know what kinda miles were on it or how it was driving he bought a 1980 vette with the motor in it an took it out to build a stroker. so i picked out a good block had it honed an cleaned in the hot tank an ordered parts just waiting on my bearing rings an gasket kit. cam lifters pistons timing chain oil pick up an pump an crank came in an are in the garage waiting to be put together!! oh an i bought a rev limiter figured it would be money well spent!!! hope to have it in an running for break in some time in april. cant wait till may!!!!!!!!!

I definatly need one too. I keep forgeting about the tach lol.... and there's something nice about being able to just plant your foot and not worry about it.
