I bought this FRONT axle to put in my Cherokee but hehe this is one BIG Bitch! Way too big for an XJ! Well one that hopes to keep its MVI. This is a heavy duty 44, there is a LOT of webbing on the diff. The truck it came from is a 1978 F250-8bolt wheel-it comes with calipers(suit for cores), really good rotors and tie rods etc. There are no locking hubs. It has what appears to be 3:50ish gears-just approx from moving pinion. Ring gear is toast BTW. I want this gone as it is no good to me. $450 obo. Will trade for just about anything-tools,tires, JEEP parts etc. Let me know what you have. Msg or 3712740
