I remember seeing someone using square tube for the backbone of a buggy once, I think Bent Fabrication, and liked the idea. Makes for an easier place to mount the links.
I plan on narrowing the hood and grill from the "heep". Trying not to spend too much money on this build. Going to salvage as much as I can from the old buggy and use on the new.

Kinda decided what the front will look like now that the drive train is in. Watta ya think? Now that the grill is narrowed I still have to shorten it as well. Looks too tall.

I'm a trying! Might have it sooner if my wife keeps letting me go out after the kids go to bed!!!
Added the last of the top bars last night. Then I'm kinda stumped with what to do with the front.
At first I wasn't going to put the rad up front. Planned on putting it in the back.
Then I decided it is going to be a 4 seater, room for the kids, so I don't want a hot rad sitting soo close to their heads. So the rad goes back to the front. Now I'm not sure what to do.......
Stay tuned for the continuing saga.....

You'll just have to get on pirate and look at other buggies to see what they are doing. That's what I do when I'm stumped.

Have not posted here in a while. Probably because I have not DONE anything in a while! Last couple of warm weekends motivated me to start building again. Built the rear and front suspensions and got the coils under it and rolled it outside to have a look. I'll try and remember to post up some other pics later.

That looks really good. Nothin like a little sun to get the motivation going. Looking forward to seeing more progress. Keep us posted. Charles.
