Well I have my chassis spoken for ,but I'm having a hard time trying to decide what I want to build Been looking on pirate4x4 for ideas. It has to be a two seater(my little girl likes going with me on the tamer runs),and front engine.Going to use the running gear out of my old buggy. So I just have to come up with an idea of what I want it to look like.Easier said than done! Here are a few pics that I have found so far. Kinda like this one,but the jeep hood would have to be replaced or something like this That's a few that I have found so far.If you have any pics of buggies that you think are cool post them up.Not in any big hurry, have my old chassis for the summer. I like the ones that still slightly resemble trucks, like in this thread: pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=673308Maybe its just the taco shell ;D But I think the style will be strongly dictated by the drivetrain, suspension and cockpit mounting. You sort of need to start with a 'subframe' to mount all that stuff the way you need it, then step back and try to imagine what will look cool for the rest of the chassis. See a lot of builds on pirate etc that start with a sweet chassis, but ends up getting chopped to hell to make things fit. Paul

I have that same thread for the taco skinned buggy saved on my PC.I was thinking about using suzuki sidekick panels instade of toy panels.Just not to sure how long it would stay loooking nice with me behind the wheel.Known to be hard on sheet metal. ;D
Bobby's rig is cool.Might have to scale it down abit to fit my running gear.Wonder what the fenders are off of?They would be nice for winter wheelin and the spring time.
Thanks guys,keep them coming

I think he said the fenders are off of the front of a John Deere tractor.

Alright alright. In all seriousness how about this one. I dig the skins on it. This blue one if you put a small engine in place of the cylinder would be a small lightweight buggy.

Actually Fat Girl is Tim's first rig, he had Pinky built as a toy.
