Well it about time but I am getting ready to install my new locker in the front of the 4runner. After seeing charles explode his front end I have made up my mind on what I am going to do. To start with I am ripping the front diff out of 87 truck to get the bigger non ADD front tube to connect to the 4runners current Diff, hopefully the larger shaft being 1/8 thicker will help keep her together. I will post some pics this weekend. Charles Friday is the night.

aussielocker.com/its a aussie locker and i've read some good reviews online about them and for 325 bucks it was dilievered to my door in 7 days. I asked alot of questions via email they asked for my number and called to my suprise they answered all my question on the phone and send a awesome set of instructions on how to install. Hopefully I'll have some good offroad review soon. Glen

Well the install went well as always a few snags on the way Charles and I started around 7 on Saturday night we had to pop the lower control arm off the drivers side to get the axle out far enough to out of the way to drop the front Diff completely out. We removed the cover and the ADD system then we hit our snag the outer tube was connected with the inverted tor ex nut guess what we didn't have one and that stopped progress for the night just after 10:30. Crappy Tire didn't have it either good thing Shade Tree lives in Sydney River because after a short drive to Jason's House we were back in Business...Thanks Jason....wonce the carrier was removed we removed the ring gear and the spider gears then came the fun part the locker install the instructing were great but there is something we didn't agree with, we had to record gaps for the warranty but the instruction said to pack the parts with grease and I thing that takes up space when your measuring .006 at times. But it all went together and after installing the none ADD tube everything is now back together with only one thing to do, Install the manual hubs from the donor truck oh ya and try her in the mud. The first test were hold the wheel and Turing the other the opposite way we could hear the locker clicking everything look good and I would say I am 95% ready for the next run. Big thanks goes to Charles I couldn't have got this in with out him. I have the pictures posted tomorrow night.
