i was wondering on the ups n downs of torsion bar keys i have a 91 gmc 1500 with a 6.2 in it i was wanting to put 33s on it n i was gona use torsion bar keys to give me the lift needed wondering if this was a good idea

Correct me if I am wrong but different keys dont do much more then if you turn your factory ones all way up.
The ups, to cranking them. You will get atleast 1-3 inches of lift on the front depending how much you crank them.
The bad, puts the cv axels and a greater angle and put more wear and tear on the boots. Also your ride will become a little stiffer, not as much cushion to the suspension.
I have originally cranked mine a little, I got about 2.25 inches and it was not near maxing them out.
It made the truck sit more level with the back. I am not sure if it would clear 33s . Mine already had a 3 inch body lift at the time.
