I think it's gonna be offroad only but I'm gonna bite the bullet anyways and get the high steer . I don't want to spend a bunch of time on something I don't plan on keeping or on something that may not work too well , the crossover seems to be the way to go .

I got some steering gear tonight , tried it in place and seen I got too many spring plies . Gonna pull two out of each side I think and that should give me the clearance I need and soften up my ride at the same time , not much give to it as it is now . Also got a start on my traction bar while I was waiting for my steering , I'll get back to it when everything else is done .

Trail gear stuff from north shore off road , some beefy compared to the stock setup . If it works half as good as it looks I'll be happy .

did yas have any issues with your pitman arm ? To be honest, we haven't used the ptman arms yet. Mine came already attached to the steering box (used gear), and we used the stock arm on John's Nissan with a welded insert.

When I tightened the draglink down it buried itself into the pitman arm , so I took the zipcut and took somewhere between 1/4 - 5/16" off the bottom of it , and wasn't overly impressed about having to do that but anyways it is together and working for now . Then I changed the ring gear and pinion in the rear to match the 3.90's in the front so that kind of sucks too , going in the wrong direction with my ratio but it isn't far off of what I had . I had the truck out for a little tear tonight and it actually worked a little better than what I thought for my ratios . The tires impressed the hell out of me so far , and definately suck up horsepower in the mud . Going on another little run tomorrow so I'll try get some more pics , I still have stuff to do ,twin stick ,shocks, traction bar, etc.. but all that can wait a few more days ;D

Well I had the truck out again , I had some tire clearance issues to deal with so I swapped out some plies in the front for a little more height and added some metal to the frame to drop my bump stops down a bit and went wild with the zip cut and sledge hammer for a while . I need wheel spacers to help my turning radius some but they'll have to wait a little while . My front pinion was loose as well I discovered so I had to pull that all apart and set it right . Now my front driveshaft is binding a bit when the suspension drops but I just recieved my dual t-case adaptor today so that will help me with the crappy angle I got now . Hopefully I'll get that all in tonight and then driveshafts and crossmember tomorrow . The guys at NSOR sent me a new pitman arm , no charge no hassle , which is enough for me to recommend them to ppl .

I got a late start last night , so I began by cleaning up the spare parts . Then I had a broken bolt in my donor box that proved to be lots of fun . Then it was time to start assembling .... Heavy snap rings can be a pain in the ass when you don't have heavy duty snap ring pliers , nothing that a pair of modified welding pliers with some short pieces of pipes on the handles can't take care of though ;D Now with all the gears installed and then the case Fully assembled minus the shifters . The only thing I didn't like about the adaptor was there wasn't any instructions . They probably figure if you need instructions you shouldn't be doing it anyways but it would have helped with the stud placement . I ended up with one in the wrong spot after it was all together so I remover it in two pieces and replaced it with a bolt rather than pull it apart .

Now I can't wait to get it in there and try it out , dual lows and twin stick should be awesome ;D

Here's a pic of t-case bolted in and one of my front driveshaft with a much nicer angle , I also swapped out my front yoke to go to a single U-joint instead of the double cardan Then I figured I'd try it out , the gearing is awesome . Gonna mess around with my crossmember some more . So far the only thing I seen that didn't hold up was my tailgate ;D

Looking good man! Now that you've got the gears, you'll have to hit the rocks with us sometime.
